  1. when using excel to create a form, make cell information required in order to move to next cell /question.

For an on-line form use, Make information input into a cell 'required' in order to continue filling in the information. Useful when using Excel to create a form for folks to complete and then 'submit'For example, if ordering a bus, we request we type Name in one cell and leave cell in next column blank for input of name. That cell needs to be 'required' in order to go to the next line, etc and at the end, after filling in all required information, they can then click "Submit" button.

  4. Add Quick Parts Building Blocks to Excel

We receive RFI documents from prospective customers. These are in the form of questions in an excel workbook. A lot of these questions could be answered with a standard block of text. I can do this in Word but not in Excel.

    For example:

    What accreditations have you got?
What industry bodies do you belong to?

These appear in numerous questionnaires and the answer would be the same for each one. However, I have to type it each time or go to word and drop the quick part int a blank document to copy it across to excel. This is…

  5. Allow Survey

I am not sure about this feature, but is there a way of knowing who responds to the survey (email address)?

If not, It would be totally useful, as some folks don't want to add their email information and then they are removed from the survey for that reason- who knows who to send the results to, in my case...

  6. option to include DateTime stamp for when Survey is filled out

Please include the option to have the spreadsheet behind the survey populate with the datetime that the survey entry had been submitted. This is a Google Forms feature that is incredibly handy.

  7. Survey Description Is Too Short

The description for the overall survey (not each individual question) is too short. You need to be able to say a blurb about the survey or how to rate the questions. If it's more than a couple of lines of text, it gets cut off which makes the survey useless to a user.

  8. Scale Option in Survey

Surveys need a Scale for the answer type. IE...scale of 1-5 where you can specify the low and high end of the scale.

  11. Excel survey can be customized with images, backgrounds, and multi-page answers.

Excel survey can be customized with images, backgrounds, and multi-page answers. Based on answers given, other pages are populated. Google Forms does this.

  12. increase character limit on choice options in Excel Survey

When providing the options for an Choice question in an Excel Survey I found out that there is a character limit to the input box where you provide the options. Seems like this limit is around 1000 characters, which is far too little for providing full overviews of countries, products, models and many more categories that many companies have in their datasets and would like to incorporate in surveys.
