  1. When copying tabs, somtimes we have to cycle through 100s of "Yes" or "No" to the "Name already exists warning" Can we add Yes to All option

This is a major productivity killer for power users such as finance teams, and current UX does not help exit this state efficiently.

    • Allow for a transparent Manual vs. Automatic Calculation setting by workbook vs. a global setting.

When you have one calculation-heavy workbook and distribute it to other people, it would be best if you could turn off calculation for only that workbook, without affecting the other workbooks these users are working on. It is confusing and outright dangerous in potential consequences that suddenly their workbooks do not calculate anymore. On the other hand, if the calculation is on, their whole excel freezes for a considerable amount of time every few keystrokes.

Suggestion: Allow for a transparent Manual vs. Automatic Calculation setting by workbook vs. a global setting.
There should be a popup when you open the…

      • Excel processor Bug - 99% usage

There is a bug with the processor usage, which extends up to 99% in some special situations.
Since the latest version of the semi-annual channel, there is a new bug, which is also in the latest version of monthly channel.
When you are opening a new excel sheet and copy one or more cells then you can start playing a little "processor-game". On the bottom there is a slide control, when you push it to the verry left (over the table sheets) the processor usage will grow up to 99%, when pushing it back to the right, the usage decreases.…

Allow customers to use Macros in Windows10 Office 365 Excel. DO NOT GREY OUT THE BUTTON THAT SAYS "ENABLE CONTENT".

IN OTHER WORDS, STOP BEING COMPLETE IDIOTS! Shame on you developers at MSFT! What is wrong with you! I bet you $60 you won't fix this!

          • Scrolling is Choppy

When dragging the scroll bar with medium to large spreadsheets it is very laggy/choppy. This is annoying and the scrolling should be much more fluid.

            • Make advanced version of excel to compete with R, SPSS etc

Well I was just wondering, that people already know how to use Excel, Why don't you make an advanced version of Excel on the same basis of current Excel to compete with R, SPSS etc.

              • Fix the bug which makes the mouse unusable when the spreadsheet is too large

I can't select cells with my mouse, meaning the worksheet is incredibly difficult to complete. This renders the software almost unusable.

                • Modified Split/freeze function

At times we need to freeze one column and scroll in left as well as right side of the sheet. so it would be great if there is a functionality to freeze one column and browse the sheet

                  • When there are performance issues, let us know through a popup or some other method

Today, I spent several hours of my own time as well as almost two hours in a Support Chat trying to find out why my Financial Stock price data were not refreshing (See Data > Stocks > Refresh), only to finally be told by a level 2 support person that "Morningstar's server has been down for a few days; others have reported similar problems."
I searched Help and the Community for such issues and found nothing. If such problems exist, it would be nice if a popup window informed us of the issue.
                    Thanks.
                    P.S. I also suggest that you…

                    • Provide a version of Excel in Azure

Excel works great...until you get to much data or your calculations are to complex. Then, it starts slowing down and the more you add the slower it gets. However, the options to speed things up usually involve large amounts of IT involvement and programming. This is not easy for the average business user.

Can we get Excel in Azure using the power of the Azure servers to deal with our data quantity and calculation complexity? This would allow the world to easily scale their existing workbooks.

This might work well as an app building platform integrated with your emerging PowerSuite!

                      • Improve the quality and performance of Excel by understanding the root cause systems contributing to a cell loosing its formula.

Collecting ideas from the Microsoft customer base on new functionality is a stellar way to run a business. Another dimension for improvement is to also identify disconnects or issues that affect the supportive infrastructure that makes everything work. An example is a cell that loses its formula and reverts to a static value or a cell that loses everything when a particular cell is selected. A root cause analysis should be performed to understand the circumstances under which this disabling quirk occurs. As a starting point, it would appear that the one of the causal circumstances involves for - next…

                        • Re-order pinned workbooks

You should be able to rearrange the order of the pinned Excel workbooks.

For some unknown reason everytime I open a workbook it has gone back to not printing gridlines and printing headings. I change it, and save it, but when I open it again next time it has reverted back. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this.

Integrate Cortana more closely with Excel. For example:

1-Calling Cortana to lookup VBA code and/or help online instead of opening a browser window,

2-Calling Cortana to lookup meaning/ synonyms /translation of selected Excel cells,

3-Calling Cortana to explain new functionalities of new Excel versions.

                                    • OneDrive file open to direct app

OneDrive when I click on to open a Word, Excel file, it opens to some kind of an app, but not directly to Word or Excel. I have to click the upper right to "Open with" before it will get to Word or Excel. This is really not necessary as it should open directly to Word or Excel by default.

                                      • Improve CONCAT

CONCAT is good but if we can have a separator syntax that would make more sense. For example assume I have alphabets form A1 to A26 and now "B1 =CONCAT(A1:A26," | ")" should give me "A | B | C | D "and so on.

hope you understood. and wish to see it ASAP in excel

                                        Thank you!

                                        • Checking for Last Cell

Is there any way to check for Last Cell equal to 1048576 in the entire workbook instead of having to check worksheet by worksheet?
