  1. use arrow keys when editing text in dialog boxes

    When editing dialog boxes such as the Data Validation box, using an arrow key doesn't move you within the text but instead puts a cell reference into a formula. Please make it work like Excel functions which only put the cell in if you are entering the formula for the first time, but otherwise use the arrow keys to move around. Or better still make this toggleable by pressing F2.

  3. short cut key for Paste just value

    Many tims I copy and paste things around from difrent webpages or diffrent spreadsheets into my excel file and it keeps the format too wich causes problem, unless I right click and choos the option, which is so frustrating when you are copy/pasting over hundred things.
    I tried to set one but there is no way. I tried Macro bet it did not work.
    Please please just add a shortcut key (like Shift+Ctrl+v) or let us to set the default like MS Word.

  4. Notification to other users of a file.

    Have an option to notify the user who has a file open that another user wants to edit the file; not just a notify button for yourself to be informed when the file is closed by the other user.

  5. Remember selection of columns/rows after you inserted copied cells once

    In previous versions of excel you could copy a full column and insert it multiple times within the excel file without additional action. In latest versions of excel the clipboard for the copied column/row is cleared after inserting the column/row once. This requires re-copying the columns/rows each time you want to insert it again. Please restore the previous functionality in which the columns/rows are stored in the clipboard until another action is taken.

  6. Calendar, calendar, calendar!

    For over twenty years, the calendar is not available for Excel (interact with sheet)! And you kill ActiveX calendar too. I'm looking for good words...

  7. Cut and delete/remove cells

    When cutting & pasting information (rows or columns) from the middle of one sheet to another sheet or workbook I always think it's a real pain to have to go back to the first sheet to delete the empty rows or columns.
    I'm no Excel expert, but I've never found a way around this?
    So my idea is to have a (right click) "cut & delete" or "cut & remove" option?

  8. I have three solutions for Double Click at the top or bottom of a cell takes you to top or bottom of the sheet

    Solution 1:
    We should only apply "cell drag-and-drop" feature for 2 vertical line of a cell, not for 2 horizontal line of a cell.
    Because the "Double-click and shift top or down" issue is usually happen when we double-click on 2 horizontal line of a cell.

    Solution 2:
    We can separate 2 features: "fill handle" and "cell drag-and-drop", then don’t use "cell drag-and-drop"
    But we can add a "move" button to the menu that appears when we right-click on a cell,
    use that "move" button and drop the selected cell to the other cell.

  9. Allow us to disable "double click to move"

    Double-clicking to move to the beginning or end of the cells is useful for some, but for others it drags our productivity down. Please allow us to toggle the option to navigate using double-click so the users who are adversely affected by it can turn it off.

  10. Unhide mulitpile or all hidden sheets

    Being able to unhide all or multiple sheets at once, rather than single sheet.
    When the selection of hidden sheets appear have the ability to pick different sheets by using Ctrl and mouse
    Maybe also have an unhide all option

  12. Allow user to select ranges and edit cells within a merged cell without un-merging cells

    PROBLEM: We often have tables (not always defined as a formal table range) that include horizontally merged cells within a row. On occasion, we need to delete a block of cells from the center of the table where the merged rows span over the cells being deleted. This operation cannot be performed because we cannot specifically select the block of cells we want to delete.

    GLITCH: When a block selection includes horizontally merged cells, the selection is forced to expand to included the full width of any merged cells included in the range. This, in turn, forces a widened selection…

  13. Revert the keyboard shortcut 'i' for insert row when right-clicking (instead of Ink - who even uses this??)

    When you right click on a row or column, you used ot be able to then press either 'i' or 'd' and this would instantly insert or delete a row/column at this location .
    For whatever reason, the keyboard shortcut 'i' now redirects first to the 'Ink' comment.
    I for one have never used Ink while editing spreadsheets, and don't plan on starting it. I assume I am not alone. Please remove the shared keyboard shortcut from the Ink command.

  14. Ability to right click and take the sum in the status Bar

    In the status bar when you select a bunch of numbers it shows the Sum, Average and Count (default setting). A feature where one can right click on the status bar and copy the sum (or Average or count) to paste it in another file would be super useful. Sometimes we need to select a few items and quickly get the sum etc and probably paste it in an email or take the data into another excel file. That way one can avoid writing formulas or scribbling it on a piece of paper.

  15. Minor defect when open help while in cell editing mode

    If user in cell editing mode (F2) and opens help (F1), if user presses 'Enter' button, instead of exit edit mode back to cursor mode, user stays in the edit mode and Excel acts same as if user presses 'left alt' + 'enter' (breaks the line).

  16. Splits

    When you split the data you highlight what you need but it then highlights the same in all splits, is there any way you can highlight different values in each split for a comparison?

  17. Enable multiple font colors within a phonetic field

    I want to change font color of the underlined furigana to match the underlined red text while keeping the furigana and text in the box blue. Excel doesn't have that capability, but I think it would be a useful addition.

  19. Be able to protect the headers and footers. We can protect the data within the worksheet, but whats the sense if the headers and footers get
