  1. Set margins for alternate pages

    I am trying to print (duplex) a lot of A4 landscape pages to go into a binder. I will need a bigger margin on the top of the first page, but when flipped over in the binder I need a small margin on the top of the second page and the larger margin on the bottom. I cannot find anyway of doing this in Excel. There must be lots of occasions when this is needed.

  3. When printing, having the date printed appear at the bottom of the pages

    When printing a workbook or worksheet, it would be nice to have the date and time stamp appear at the bottom of the page.

  5. print

    Excel needs to be set so that it prints what is shown on screen as a default. It's really frustrating to set up a sheet and then when you print it out and there are many errors that weren't noticeable before printing (boxes too small to display text, text in wrong location, etc)

  6. One click switching between portrait and landscape.

    Since there are only two options between portrait and landscape the button should display the opposite option as the current selection so you merely need to click once instead of twice(drop down menu, and then option). This would eliminate the frustrating and needless extra clicking and moving the pointer.

    This could also be implemented whenever and where ever the drop down menu only contains two options. If programmed correctly, it would automatically be implemented whenever the menu contained only two options and switch back to drop down mode whenever 3 or more items were added to the menu...

  7. I would love for there to be a simpler command that print multiple worksheets

    I designed a workbook with multiple pages all of which I would like to print in a continuous report with consecutive page numbers. Can you create a command that makes this possible?

  8. Need ability to apply an Excel Template to an existing spreadsheet

    A template exists for the company, which has standard fonts, colors, headers and footers. The template can be used for new files, but employees need the ability to apply the template in their existing Excel files. Applying templates to an existing file exists in Microsoft Word. Is it possible to carry this over to Excel as well?

  9. Excel Left Margin for Header & Footer other than default and not aligned with sheet margin.

    We are left with either set default margin or align with Page Margin. I want to set Min Margin for Header & Footer (Left/Right) and some other distance for normal worksheet content.
    We can achieve the same in MS-Word but not in excel.

  10. IN THE INSERT MODE ALLOW TO MOVE CELLS DOWN MORE THAN 1 AT A TIME

    WHEN I HIGHLIGHT AN AREA TO PUT INTO AN ASCII EDITOR
    CAN THE TAB OR SPACES BETWEEN COLUMBS BE OMITTED.

  11. Utilize the same page formatting for every sheet in the workbook

    I would like to utilize the same print formatting for each sheet in the workbook. Header, Footer, orientation, scaling, etc. I would like to have the name of the sheet vary per sheet.

    Right now, it is a manual entry for each sheet, both when i set it up, and when i edit say, for a different year.

  13. Microsoft removed print in reverse order from Microsoft 365 Excel

    It appears that Microsoft removed an option from Microsoft 365 Excel. This was to print pages in reverse order. My printer prints pages face up. When I print a multiple page document I want the last page to print first, so the pages are in the correct order when printing is complete.

    Allow printing 2 1pg worksheets on opposite sides (back & front) of same piece of paper. Currently the "Print on both sides, flip pages on short edge" does not honor the "Print on both sides" option.

  15. Print headers automatically

    To have the ability to change options so that a custom footer with file name, maybe the date also, print automatically on existing documents. I know how to set up files with headers and footers, but I'd like to see how to change company standard printing of existing documents to include the same information. Trying to automate the process and save time (and tempers 😉) for everyone.

    When printing to PDF, it would be ideal if I could append to the end of an existing PDF file.

  19. Not to print

    In the page break view, as the fields are symmetrically sized, many a times there are pages blank in between not to be printed. In such cases, individual commands are needed to be given. Hence option needs to be developed to select page or pages not to be printed, and flexible area should be allowed to create required page size or shape.

  20. Page break view

    While applying page break view on a large data statement, currently only symmetrical cuts/fields are allowed. It is suggested that page break view for different shapes/fields should be developed so that while printing the required fields can be printed without an rearrangements or problem. Please consider developing flexible page break view so that the user can arrange the fields accordingly.
