Email worksheet as pdf
These are currently two separate export options, email vs export to pdf.
So emailing a worksheet as pdf turns into a six steps process: 1) export to pdf; 2) choose folder and save; 3) switch to outlook; 4) create email; 5) add attachment; 6) choose folder then pdf file. If lucky, it can go a couple steps down when outlooks prelists recent pdf created as attachment candidates.
The current option available in excel "Email as PDF attachment" converts whole workbook as PDF for Mail attachment. Can we improve on this and add a pop option similar to the option we…

Clearly show a workbook is no longer shared
Have a clear option to stop sharing a file - I sometimes share a file and then later want to remove all shares. While I think I've removed them all, I'm never 100% sure I've completely removed all sharing options. Thanks

Larger Notification or Alert for when "Your Changes can not be Merged" notification appears.
When you are working with O365 and multiple users in the Same document. Sometimes the changes you make do not merge with the changes they have made. When this happens you are able to keep working on the document. This is an issue, because you may not notice the Error Notification for awhile and now you could lose the work you have done.
Please make it to where when this notification pops up, you are alerted immediately and you are not able to add more data until you close and renter the document.

On Excel can you add the ability to email out individual sheet tabs on a workbook ?
I have on 1 workbook anywhere from 5 to 50 individual sheets tabs open for my events. When i try to email an individual event to a specific client it only allows me to email the entire work book with all other events on it. Then it prompts me to save a copy of one individual sheet tab as its own work book and email it out that way. that means that i would have to save a copy and email out each individual sheet tab. Counter productive and takes too long. Can it be fixed to where you can…

Remove threaded comment warning
It would be helpful if when trying to view threaded comments on an older version of excel, there wasn't a long warning shown every time.
Because of this, you cant just quickly hover to view the comment. You have to go in and format the comment box to make it much bigger in order to actually view the comment that follows the warning. This can be very time consuming. Would be better if the comment box was just made view only or a warning popped up only after you try to edit the text.

Workflow email notifications
I would like to see a workflow style email notifications, base upon condition and changes. The “recipient” should get information of what was changed, of course this will be for a OneDrive or SharePoint saved file

Please allow to restrict edit privilege to specific users shared via link.. not only computers on network
Currently the allow edit range works only for computers/users on a network.. But in my office, we have multiple sites and share files via link.. and I would like to restrict certain columns to certain users only.
Basically expand the allow edit range to users shared over link as well

Fix Co-Authoring with Desktop App
Co-authoring with SharePoint Online and Excel desktop applications is a plague for years. This has to be the most common problem that keeps coming back up over and over. For whatever reason Excel files become read-only locked for all users accept for the last person that made an edit with the desktop application. All other users are prompted to save a copy of the file.
Microsoft you need to figure this issue out. Devise a way for the local office cache to resolve itself, or fix autosave, or the other myriad of options which is causing this ongoing conflict to…

Add a way to view individual cell history in a table
Preferably it would show which users made the edit and the value changes made to the cell. If log is to cumbersome, even last 5 edits would be nice to view.

Excel online needs Allow Edit Ranges BY USER.
We have a work file in which 30 people are actively contributing.
A substantial portion of the users are "data capturers" and have permissions to capture data into certain columns, say columns 1 to 15.
Then we have reviewers, who need to complete 5 columns for each row of captured data. There should be a feature, in Excel online, which allows for my 5 reviewers, and the 5 reviewers only, to be able to edit say columns 16 to 20.
I don't want the data capturers to be able to edit columns 16 to 20, at all.
Based on the…

Excel Workbook Collaborative Reminders
This applies to scenarios where making a workbook a shared file so everyone can edit at the same time isn't feasible
Sometimes when multiple people are trying to work within the same workbook, the person who is currently working in the spreadsheet will forget about it if multi-tasking and doing other things. The other people waiting have no idea if the other person is actually still working in the workbook or forgot about it or worse, is away from their desk. A solution to this would be to create a reminder that pops-up in the workbook with two buttons after…

Dynamic/Conditional range in Allow Edit Ranges
Assume an excel file which requires feedback from many people. The file contains many lines and each line is assigned to specific person = requires feedback only from this specific person and no one else should be allowed to edit this line.
Allow Edit Ranges function should facilitate collaboration on this file, except that the lines assigned per person are frequently changing, leading the administrator of the file to manually adjust the allowed ranges assigned per person, in the Allow Edit Ranges menu. There should be the possibility to automatically adjust the allowed ranges assigned per person in the Allow…

@mentions to show up in MS Teams activity feed
Currently when you @mention a user on a comment inside Excel they only get an email notification. When the file resides in MS Teams it seems logical that an @mention should show up in the activity feed. It's confusing to use Teams for collaboration (communication and file sharing) and then need to rely on the @mention notification to come from another platform (email).

Enhance the share button for Excel, Word, and PPT.
Add more share options and not just OneDrive and Email. Share via Teams, integrate the Box share plug-in (instead of a separate button), Yammer, To-Do, etc.
