Change in format
Sometimes Date formats, number formats etc change when the excel file is opened on another computer; probably when the custom format is not available on the target comp. This should not happen.

In Excel (xlsx) I was using Advanced Filter on a column of numbers and the format changed in one spreadsheet so the filter would no longer work. I tried reformatting the numbers and Text to Columns on both my data sheet and worksheet, but nothing worked long term. Someone told me that the number formats are basically embedded and is difficult to change for vLookup and Advanced Filter applications. I found a work-around in running my Advanced Filter using data in CSV format, but it would be nice if the number formatting was more consistent or compatible so these issues do not happen.
Actually Excel has an error that in some sheets after time, it changes all numbers in the general format into dates. It has had this error for a DECADE. I have one spread this happens with regularly, very ANNOYING.
