Extend conditional formatting to specify all formatting
E.g. alignment is missing
Please add the ability to change the font through conditional formatting.

Please allow us to add all border style in the formatting

gmoProXL - I fully agree with you, maybe I was too cryptic. If one can point to style then one can apply any formatting one likes (via that style)
what is the point of conditional formatting? Think about it...
You want to make something stand out or be alerted and have it called to your attention.
So what do you need? You need a full arsenal of choices to make that happen.
What do we have? Well, the designer chose a limited arsenal for some reason.
It is a shame, but maybe it can be improved in the future. I have some massive spreadsheets and i cant do what i want all the time.. but i can do enough i guess. i have plenty of ideas to make this better and eventually it will get there.
@Jan. No, there are fewer choices with conditional formatting vs just formatting. Need full set of choices plus more. I want other choices activated or at least the same choices as normal formatting. Sizing is grayed out and fewer thickness of lines choices. Just try it and you will see.

It can actually be very simple - condition met -> apply style
Needs to add centering too and ability to add thick lines. Not enough options here and need more in the original list there. Help save time please. make this better and more efficient. Shouldnt be that difficult.
Conditional formatting needs improvement.
Should have the bold choice up front and it should default to Green not red for sure. Also when i do the customized choice and go to cell border, there are only very thin border lines? weird. Should be thicker choices. The whole purpose is to alert me! ugh. bad decision there to reduce the choices for conditional formatting. SMH. So please put bold up front, default to green and for cell borders i think it should start with entire cell outlined and then u can remove that and add thicker line choices. that is a must. The thin lines are barely noticeable at all. Not sure why this was overlooked. I would question the decision-maker there for sure. this caused me frustration and i may miss an alert because of it. You need to think of the purpose of why we use these things... in this case.. to SEE it. so thin or thick?

I particularly wish for the font size option. Sometimes I need to show tenths of percents and then need to downsize the text slightly for printing.

The thicker borders are missing too. I'm guessing that it's because the thicker borders make the row/column resize, which I guess isn't desirable for conditional formatting.

Provide all the same options in the Number, Font, Border, & Fill tabs of the Format Cells window under Conditional Formatting as are available for standard Format Cells window on the Home tab of the Ribbon (In XL2010, the border options under CF are less than that on the Home tab!)
