Date And Time Entries Without Symbols - Date Format yymmdd Time Format HHmm
WIN10 uses these formats, Date can be set in REGION (Custom). In the military we use the following formats because they sort better, especially, when more than one year of data is examined. Civilian-MM/DD/YY sorts like this: 01/05/19 - 01/12/18 - 01/16/20. Not in order. Military-YYMMDD(no forward slashes) 180112-190105 - 200116. Excel does not use the Custom REGION settings properly when using a working YYMMDD(wrong case here) format. We also used military time, not just a 24hr clock. Military time does not use a colon (1352hrs vs 13:52). Neither Win10's Custom REGION or EXCEL have this TIME format and you can't create it. Date and Time entry is much quicker without the symbols and sorting is more accurate. These solid numbers should also make some of the formulas in EXCEL easier to use and understand. I speak here about EXCEL. I have the same issue with other Microsoft (Office), and other APPS I use.
