Money in Excel I s great idea but not thought through. It has many issues. The recent update today loaded new sub categories BUT it changed all the categories on the transactions that I had already changed,, back to the original imported ones? Then I notice that there are missing transactions fro my loan account and HSA account. Shows the correct balances but is missing the individual transactions on the transactions tab? No Support Number?

Was able to configure a few accounts that use 2FA, but my key accounts with major banks are still not accessible. Wasn't able to connect to some institutions that hold my 401(k) accounts.
I'd say the connectivity is clunky - not sure where the problems lie - in the Excel template, in Plaid, or with the target financial accounts.
For a paid software service, I expect better.BTW - in reading through the security policy of Plaid, I could not figure out if they store any of the financial data (of my accounts) on their servers - on a persistent or even temporary basis. Do they?

I can't use Money in Excel, if it does not let me retain the additional Multi Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) that I have configured with my bank's online access.

Can anyone help with a template for a YTD Snapshot similar to the current monthly one? I find the monthly snapshot helpful but YTD would be a great addition for budgeting, especially at the end of the year.

The main difficulty that I see, and the only reason that I wouldn't use it, is that I don't see a way to have a cash account. How do I keep up with expenditures that I pay for with cash?

If you cannot load transactions from prior to 2020, at least give YTD from Jan 1 2020. Or even a way to manually import data from a csv or equivalent

I love Excel and Money for Excel is a great idea. Unfortunately another example of Microsoft not being able to deliver a usable consumer product. While MFA is not 100% secure, it is the best thing available to a wide consumer market and thus a must for Money in Excel.

My credit union is not listed in financial institutions. Wescom Credit Union is large and in other finance apps.
