CTRL+M to launch Power Query Editor
Well, we know that
the language behind Power Query is called M;
it takes at least three clicks to launch Power Query Editor;
the shortcut CTRL+M is currently unassigned...
Why not using CTRL+M to launch Power Query Editor?

Right pane is usually opened in any case. Anyway, If people vote for it they know such shortcut will be quite useful for them. That's great, let it'll be. I only would like to say I'm personally have no any need in it.
For me more useful will be shortcut to open "Manage data model" interface, aka Power Pivot. But that's also "nice to have", that's not the operation which I repeat every few minutes or which requires a lot of clicks to perform or which is hided deeply in navigation menu. -

@Sergei Baklan, I actually do it a lot.
To enter from Query Pane on the right, we first need to get that pane visible, which requires a few clicks too.
Sometimes it is not about acting on an existing query or creating a new one. It could be looking at the query dependencies view, for example. Which, by the way, should also be posible to open from the Data Ribbon. -

Honestly, how often do you do File->Data->Get Data->Launch Power Query Editor to assign shortcut on it? I never. Entry or from right pane to perform some action on existing query, or from Get data to add new one.

Ctrl + M is already assign to Currency format in French language. But nobody use it.

I would like it even more if Control-Alt-M would put you in the SQL editor!
I use that every day. -

As a workaround, I added the Power Query editor to the quick access bar (next to my VBA editor) for exactly the reason you mention.
