Find/Replace fails when multiple worksheets selected in Excel 365 (version 1902)
I selected multiple sheets and I tried to replace the "=" character with "eq=" in all the selected worksheets at one time. Since the 8/2019 version 1902 update, this find replace didn't work. Only some of the "=" characters were replaced.
Same issue! Is there a fix yet?
Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet? I received a new laptop last week and the Excel our IT group installed on it, or that came with it, is doing the same thing. First and last sheets are the only ones where a range is selected and a Find and Replace is being used.
Also having the same issue!
We are facing the same issue, please fix this ASAP!
Please fix it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm experiencing the exact same behaviour in Microsoft Excel 2016 MSO (16.0.4849.1000) 32-bit. I use the find/replace feature every month to replace values in the same row in multiple sheets.
Here are the steps to reproduce:
1) Open workbook with multiple sheets (more than two sheets)
2) Right-click on a sheet and Select All
3) Select a bunch of cells that have values that you want to replace
4) Ctrl+h to open the replace tool
5) Type in the Find what: and the Replace with:
6) Click on Replace All
In the past, the values of the selected cells in ALL sheets would be replaced. After last month, only the values of the selected cells in the FIRST and the LAST sheet in the selected group of sheets are replaced.
In conclusion, after last month's update, the Replace feature no longer works properly for selected cells in multiple selected sheets (more than two). Please fix this ASAP as I'm sure this is greatly impacting many people's workflows.
