Make undo work per workbook, not for all of Excel. I am commonly working in two workbooks and need to undo something I did in the other work
Ctrl + Z should work per workbook, not for all of Excel. I commonly have two workbooks open and work in them simultaneously, but when I use the undo shortcut it backs out through all of excel, instead of just the active workbook.

It could even be more than this: the possibility to undo "previous" actions without having to undo all those that followed it, which prevents redoing those following ones after that change. If after many changes in one workbook you realise that you would like to undo one specific action, the only choice is to do that manually, or to undo the whole set.
I second the comment that these suggestions (and votes) belong under Make Undo stacks track per workbook instead of globally
This sound similar to a request already running with currently over 800 votes https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304921-excel-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/10555248-make-undo-stacks-track-per-workbook-instead-of-glo

Yes, each open workbook should have its own separate Undo list.
