Need the ability to format multiple colours of text in one cell for excel online
Currently in Excel Online, when I format the colour of text in a single cell it changes the colour of all text in that cell. I would like the ability to change the colour of highlighted text only so I can have multiple colours of text in one cell.
After looking on multiple forums, I can see this has been an issue for many users for a number of years.
Works for me - make sure cell is configured as 'Special'

I would use google docs for that purpose. It gives a variety of options. :-) https://schoollog.in/
Ultimately the best to sort things by using excel..:) https://www.edecofy.com/

To further clarify, there should be the ability to add multiple colors to custom formats. Currently, if a custom format says +[RED]##.0#% then the entire cell text becomes red. We need custom cell formats to include all the features available in the Format Cells dialog box. This would enable more complex dynamic formatting for numbers without the use of conditional formats.
The lack of his feature makes it difficult to use Excel Online
