Add Dividend Data to Stock Data Type
It would be helpful to include the dividend amount per share and ex-dividend date with the stock data type.
Please add Dividend Yield for Stock
Agreed. Key info to understand an investment.
Please add dividend and/or dividend yield api to Excel.
There are several fields relating to dividends that would be extemely useful to us.
NEXT DIVIDEND PAYOUT AMOUNT
UPCOMING PAYOUT DATE
DIVIDEND PAYOUT FREQUENCY
To name a few...
I know I currently have to look this information up regularly from a variety of sources sometimes. Would be nice to just hit Refresh all and have it at my fingertips.

absolutely, this is the set of data that is necessary for any full data extract of Stock data. Dividend, Ex-Div date at a minimum.

Looking forward to this functionality (Dividend Yield, Monthly / Annual Dividend, etc...) being added as a function please. By the way, I LOVE this functionality of bringing in stock data to my Excel files -- thanks for this.

Agree with everybody's comments. Dividend data is critical. Please add this functionality.
I agree with this. I was also surprised it isn't available
The stock data type should include the stock dividend.

yes, please add this

Adding all the available information for a stock quote and making it accessible would be a great improvement. Also adding support for stock options trading would be very good including fields for:
Symbol Stock Symbol
Type C | P (Call/Put)
OptionCode <Option Symbol><Expiration Date><Option Type Char><Strike>
This feature is critical. Should provide data to include - dividend yield %, annualized dividend payout amount $, payout ratio %, dividend frequency (e.g. monthly/quarterly, etc), dividend growth %, next dividend payout date, ex-dividend date. Should provide for stocks, etfs as well as funds. Yahoo finance, Google docs, etc have this data. Much found via aggregate sites like dividend.com too.
perosnally without at least the dividend amount - this functionality is worthless. I have to attach to yahoo or google sheets somehow - mso why bother with Office. ex date, yield, maturity date, annual yield, next ex, are all valuable

Confirming Google Sheets provides this function and a lot more. For income investors, the stock prie alone is fairly useless without this information.
payout ratio and franking credits (for Australia) would be great
Also, the payout ratio for the company would be very useful!
I agree !!!
I agree !!! A must have feature.
