As ms word is having spell check function, i suggest you to add the same to MS Excel

We need Live Spell Checking as we type in Selected Fields -- NOT After the Fact Spell Checking
To my knowledge, this is NOT Supported.
Only After the Fact Spell Checking is
Make spell check automatic- we live in a world with auto correct...if someone chooses not to use this function...let them turn it off. Seems to me Excel is behind the times.
