please give the option to remove autosave from excel
there should be a way to turn auto save off permanently. it saving over files if I forget to manually turn it off. this is becoming a problem and a feature that I don't particular need or want. please set up the feature so you can remove it permanently not just turn it off on individual work sheets. thanks
Please give the option for AutoSave to be off as default in Word and Excel. If I want to use a file as a template I lose the template when I edit it.

I absolutely agree. It would be really nice to set the default to off. I frequently set up new Excel templates and find the feature to be more of a nuisance than helpful. I understand the functionality with live documents but working on a cloud doesn't mean I share all my files. I would replace it with an update option so if the document is live, the user could quickly and easily update the shared file.
