Keep the font color white on the Status bar while macro is running, so users can read the feedback displayed there.
When running a macro, it helps to turn screen updating off to maximize speed. Also, users want to know what's happening, so a very good way to do that is to output a progress message on the status bar, such as the process completion percentage...
New in Excel 2016, the status bar font turns dark grey on a dark green background when the macro is running, making the messages there unreadable. Why? Earlier versions of Excel did not have this design flaw. I understand that different windows themes can be tried to avoid this, but as a developer I can't ask users to change their windows color theme just to use Excel effectively.
Please revert this behavior, so the status bar font does not become unreadable during macro execution.
Very hard to send messages to the user via the application.statusbar now - while popup userforms slow down performance drastically - please fix
Finding it hard to read info in the status bar. No option offered to personalize such a simple thing? Come on Microsoft, fix this.
Wow - quite surprised that this has not yet been fixed. Epic Fail on Microsoft's part. Who in their right mind thought that turning the status bar green and leaving the text grey was a good idea? That person/group should be reassigned. Do you have a plan yet on fixing this? I see posts in here from over 3 years ago??!!
Yes, please fix. This is driving me crazy.
Please change it back. or give us an easy solution to tweak the color option within vba

I think it does not consider color universal design. Therefore, it should increase about contrast between the background color and the text color.
