I need more options and control for Excel Headers and Footers
We have our logo as well as a title up in the header on many of our Excel spreadsheets and we'd like more control with editing the headers/footers. Why can't we add more than one picture? Why can't we had shapes? Why can't we have more than 250 characters?
We also want the header to be visible no matter what view we're in, Normal, Page Break or Page Layout, so we know it's always there, without having to open the Header and Footer tab or going to Print Preview. These features need to work for both the Windows and Mac version since our employees use both and need to be able to open a file on either to work on it.
We also want to make sure that no matter the column number or width of a sheet the header size doesn't change, keeping our logo uniform in size no matter what page they're looking at.
I don't think we're asking a lot, this would be huge for us!

Hi, there are a number of functional issues with Headers/Footers. I have taken the liberty to roll them all up so that we can get a combined much bigger vote and thus action. To transfer your votes here, can you please follow the link below and vote on that combined idea? Many thanks
Also I need to be able to freeze panes - heading rows - it seems this is not possible if a header is present.

Yes, we would like to see improvements similar to this in which you can easily add a watermark in an excel spreadsheet. Very surprised to see that this feature didn't officially exist in Excel 2016 and we had to do a workaround add picture to the header. Not good enough Microsoft!
All agreed with.
Would be really good if there was text control too (i.e. able to put text, e.g. document reference, in front of the logo/picture that has been inserted).
