Invert Filter Selection
I'd like to see an option to invert filter selections. For example: If i apply a filter in a table i can select some boxes with a tickmark, but if i want to invert my selection i need to unmark selected itens before and mark the others.
In resume, i'd like to invert itens selected in a filter for the others unmarked.
Thanks for this suggestion. We agree it would be a nice improvement. We will consider this for a future update.

We can add different color to the first set of rows, and then we can apply Filter by Color to see the other set of rows. Hope this helps!

There is a way to invert a filter, see "Remove current selection from data filter" here
When I apply the filter with the first selection, I usually add an additional column (that I name filter for example) and I type "A" into all of the cells within the selection.
Next, I disable filter and I hit filter again. This time, I do it using the new column, where I can choose to select A or "blank". I select Blank, and voilà!
Enable the user to invert their selection in the Filter drop-down. If I have a large table of data, I'd like to be able to de-select a few items in a filter, then use "invert selection" to switch the check box values of all items before applying the filter
Filter out #N/A, in the next column copy #N/A column as values. Remove the #N/A filter and then filter Blanks from the next column where you previously copied #N/A. This can be used to achieve desired result of inverting filter.

When there is multiple of items in the filter, sometimes you just want to unselect and select exactly the other items, it would be easier if there is a swap, reverse button to enable you to make that.
Would save masses of time with large spreadsheets. Like there is an option to add to the selection would also help if there was an option to keep subtracting on this invert logic. Totally agree with #N/A and blanks at the top of the list too.
Yes yes yes !!! do it .. i dont understand why we still dont have it ..
Do it before someone else comes with a better product and a org. which listens .. and you guys will be broke
Up on this please
Yes please, +1 on this. I've been wanting this function for years and only just got around to requesting it, only to find that it was requested a year ago.
