Actually, it wouldn't make sense to merge them. Mine is for tables and this one is for PivotTables.

Moderator: Would it make sense to merge this request with "Total row at the top of a table" ?

    Agreed with Kenneth.

1- Grand Total For Rows: Right now, it is always displayed in the right-most columns. Would be useful to have the ability to show it on the left side between the 'Rows' area and 'Values' area.
2- Grand Total For Columns: Right now, it is always displayed in the bottom rows. Would be useful to have the ability to show it either:
2a. at the top of the table between the 'Columns' area and the 'Values' area (below the header), or
2b. above the table, between the 'Filters' area and the 'Columns' area (above the header) , with the option of re-displaying the headers.

Having a grand total at the top or on the left actually makes more sense, since those are the numbers that people care about the most, and people naturally read anything starting from the top or left.
