Export to SVG:
One of the features we heavily use today is exporting Excel files to SVG. Unfortunately, the process to achieve this is quite a few steps: 1 export to pdf, 2.use inkscape to convert pdf to svg, 3. clear any formatting issues and save to SVG. It would be really awesome to be able to export directly from Excel to SVG. Since excel supports export to PDF, and PDF is vector based, I would hope an export to SVG would be pretty easy to add. Happy to provide examples of what we are doing.
It has been a year since I submitted this request. Any update?

I would certainly support a vector image (*.svg, *.emf, etc.) option for saving graphics as well!
I often need to copy Excel charts to Word documents, Powerpoint, email and other. I take care to avoid resizing etc but the default copy/paste as (raster) image _still_ often comes out blurry. Other people I know take less care and their Word docs with badly resized, blurry images of Excel charts look truly terrible. Powerpoint presentations containing these images look even worse when projected onto a big screen.
Exporting as svg would be a good first step, but I'd go further - copy/pasting a chart as vector image should be a given its own button with at least as much, if not more priority than the existing 'Paste as Picture' option.
