Give us back our formatting windows, instead of the ridiculous formatting sidebars for objects, among other things.
Give us back the formatting windows, instead of the formatting sidebars for objects in Excel 2016. It is impossible to navigate the sidebars using the keyboard, as one used to the windows, significantly decreasing productivity.
The formatting sub-menu after pasting is awful for keyboard control. An application that tries to "guess" how to help me is the most annoying and inconvenient theme of these "enhancements". If I want to format something after I paste it, which is rare, I will enter the formatting dialog or use common formats on my quick access bar. The forced pop-up "help" is no different in-concept than the Paper-Clip, except without the cartoon interface.
I do not need an application telling me what to do next, I need to quickly tell the application what to do next (through the keyboard) to be productive.
At least the obtrusive Paper-Clip could be turned OFF.

I like the idea of the sidebar but it needs a lot of work. Keyboard navigation is one thing. It's also not intuitive where anything is in my opinion.
