Make all windows (Dialog Boxes) containing variable-sized content resizable
Too many windows force the user scroll well before the comfortable screen space for the window is exhausted. We also do not want these windows to simply be bigger and potentially take up an unnecessary amount of screen space.
For the best of both worlds, I suggest that a window should be resizable if and only if it contains variable-sized content (e.g. scroll bars, text boxes).
Examples of specific windows are listed in the comments.
All dialog windows should be resizeable.
Given content is now in clouds, on networks and not just on local PCs (and even then the paths to resources are often long), would be easier to navigate if windows (and appropriate widgets) could be resizeable to make this easier to navigate.
Similar issue with the Outlook insert link which is crazy small given the current computing environment
Please enlarge the EDIT, LINKS window. If you have several links it is **** near impossible to see enough of the path and filename to determine which link does what. It seems that Excel tries to show a limited number of characters and if you have a link to File XYZ.xlsx and File XYZ2.xlsx......the limited size of the window makes it very difficult to pick which is which.

Trace dependents "Go to" must be resizable. It is a bit useless like it is now. I am also not sure, but looks to me that all these secondary windows that open are still 72dpi fixed, which makes them tiny together with the high resolution screens we have nowadays.
Trace dependants SHOULD be so useful, but this makes it next top useless when tracing across worksheets...

Go To (Ctrl + G) is another one.

Yes!! Since this is either built in to most UI frameworks, or very easy to implement, it is almost as though the Excel team has put in effort not to do this. This would be a huge boost in efficiency.

"Yes, the Mac version automatically sizes most lists that are displayed to fit the width of the widest item, and as many items as will fit on the screen."
SERIOUSLY why is this option not available on Windows... I can't believe the inefficiency, annoyance, and wasted time caused by all of the non-resizable windows... Even the resizable ones are ALWAYS too small to start with and you have to manually make them bigger to see anything useful EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Using Trace Dependents under the Formulas menu, when the dependents reside on a different worksheet a mini window appears with the list. Most often the path is cut off and it becomes extremely cumbersome to see the cell references one by one if there's a long list. A bigger or resizable window in the case would be fantastic.
Sometimes when you are referencing a lot of different cell ranges within one data series, this can be a really long list and the current input box is inflexible and really narrow, so it is physically really difficult to get the cursor to the position that you need to amend.
Please can you make the input box size adjustable?

the excel function wizard window is an obvious one

Full screen would be good. Even then, for a 1000x100 array formula, seeing just the first few rows/columns and the last would be good enough. It is unlikely that I would wish to check all 100,000 values.

When creating Scenarios (using the Scenario Manager), the dialog that enables you to enter the values for the scenario is too small.
Yes please!! Trying to check the dependents of a cell (make sure all up to date) but can't see more than the first 20 characters or so - would be nice to be able to resize the window, scroll through and quickly check by eye. (Like the find/replace window)

I`ve using AGGREGATTE fuction for the last 2 years, and its impossible to check the function in the actual size
If you click on the little fx at the top, even on the very latest versions of Excel, you get the same tiny, non resizable grey windows xp window with a gigantic list of functions and a search feature that doesn't search anything.
Can you please staff an intern to spend a day fixing it. Use case: think of when you have hundreds of UDF in addition to the hundreds of built-in function, how practical is a 50 pixels high listbox...

I can't believe this is still an issue. The UI Framework behind Excel is more than capable of making this dialog easily resizable. Microsoft, sometimes it's not about what gets the most votes, it's about how easy something is to fix.

This dialog feels like nothing has changed since the 1990s. Not sure how much rocket science is involved in making the dialog resizeable but when it comes to evaluating array formulas this would be a gem to have!

And this one looks similar as well https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304921-excel-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/9087097-make-the-edit-links-dialog-box-resizable

Couldn't agree more.
This feature request looks similar to https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304921-excel-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/9101269-make-the-evaluate-formula-dialog-resizable
@MSFT - could you combine the threads to reflect votes appropriately? Thanks.
