Make all windows (Dialog Boxes) containing variable-sized content resizable
Too many windows force the user scroll well before the comfortable screen space for the window is exhausted. We also do not want these windows to simply be bigger and potentially take up an unnecessary amount of screen space.
For the best of both worlds, I suggest that a window should be resizable if and only if it contains variable-sized content (e.g. scroll bars, text boxes).
Examples of specific windows are listed in the comments.
I support this idea of resizable dialogue box

This is so simple. Please do this
All dialog windows should be resizeable.
Given content is now in clouds, on networks and not just on local PCs (and even then the paths to resources are often long), would be easier to navigate if windows (and appropriate widgets) could be resizeable to make this easier to navigate.
Similar issue with the Outlook insert link which is crazy small given the current computing environment

users should have the ability to resize every dialogue box!!!!!!

For the love of G-d, please, after all these years, make all dialog boxes, especially the GoTo dialog box!
For example, it is IMPOSSIBLE to decipher contents in the GoTo dialog box when using longer Excel file and sheet names.
Most programming languages provide simple ways to define resizable dialog boxes (e.g. Resizable: True, Max Height, Max Width, etc.)
If Microsoft would take 1 extra minute to fix this in Excel, I believe it would save users like me hundreds of minutes per year. That would free me up to use even more Microsoft products!

Currently the dialog box for Macros does not have an option to resize like that of 'save as dialog box'.It would be very nice if this option could be included as it would make it convenient to view more macros.
Please enlarge the EDIT, LINKS window. If you have several links it is **** near impossible to see enough of the path and filename to determine which link does what. It seems that Excel tries to show a limited number of characters and if you have a link to File XYZ.xlsx and File XYZ2.xlsx......the limited size of the window makes it very difficult to pick which is which.

Trace dependents "Go to" must be resizable. It is a bit useless like it is now. I am also not sure, but looks to me that all these secondary windows that open are still 72dpi fixed, which makes them tiny together with the high resolution screens we have nowadays.
Ugh - having this same issue.
Trace dependants SHOULD be so useful, but this makes it next top useless when tracing across worksheets...

Go To (Ctrl + G) is another one.

Yes!! Since this is either built in to most UI frameworks, or very easy to implement, it is almost as though the Excel team has put in effort not to do this. This would be a huge boost in efficiency.

"Yes, the Mac version automatically sizes most lists that are displayed to fit the width of the widest item, and as many items as will fit on the screen."
SERIOUSLY why is this option not available on Windows... I can't believe the inefficiency, annoyance, and wasted time caused by all of the non-resizable windows... Even the resizable ones are ALWAYS too small to start with and you have to manually make them bigger to see anything useful EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Using Trace Dependents under the Formulas menu, when the dependents reside on a different worksheet a mini window appears with the list. Most often the path is cut off and it becomes extremely cumbersome to see the cell references one by one if there's a long list. A bigger or resizable window in the case would be fantastic.
Sometimes when you are referencing a lot of different cell ranges within one data series, this can be a really long list and the current input box is inflexible and really narrow, so it is physically really difficult to get the cursor to the position that you need to amend.
Please can you make the input box size adjustable?
