Refresh Power Query queries when open a workbook
Can you please automatically refresh a query generated by Power Query when you open a workbook that contains query.
This option could be checked or unchecked in the menu Data>Connection
This is would be very very useful

While I am aware that the option already exists - sort of - it is not exactly what i had in mind. The problem is that the webpage I would want to access generates a permalink based on a query at a given time. (The webpage tracks fluctuations in market prices). Hence, even if the spreadsheet automatically refreshes the query it really only refreshes the same permalink and thus returns the same result as before - even if prices have actually changed. What would be needed is therefore the option to have excel automatically direct a new (but in terms of search string identical) query.
That option already exists: Right-click on the query name > Properties… > Usage tab > Check "Refresh data when opening the file"

Good idea. Currently solve this with a macro on Workbook_Open event. But this idea would allow keep workbooks macro-free.
