Add 'date picker' to enable users to select a date from a mini calendar into cells

Hi all,
We have been working on this, and wanted to get your feedback on how you see this feature fitting into your workflow. We have a quick one question survey for you to give us your thoughts on the look and keyboard shortcuts we have at this time. Please see here for more: aka.ms/datePickerSurvey
Thanks!

datepicker 32bit was such a nice one,
use it at work in many excel applicationshow about 64bit?
and what about the 365 migration that's coming to our work for about 500 users?
thx,

No drop- down

A dropdown that exposed the calendar, for selecting the date, would be better suited for spreadsheets.
Also this it should be available on Microsoft 64bit not just 32 bit for non online versions

Hey All
I have found a little "work around" that can be used, until Microsoft include a date picker in excel.
You can download an ad-on, with a calender. See enclosed.
I have not found out how to hide it, when printing. -

Is it possible to link to a specific date formatted cell and click to open as a pop-up , but all the same it is really cool

Just to break compatibility with the past, removing useful capabilities that are demanded and used by the actual users..... please add it back!

I have developed a spreadsheet that keeps track of all my recurring income and expenses. I enter the date of each transaction into the spreadsheet. I currently use the date picker to enter those dates. I find it a very convenient and quick way to accomplish this.

The ActiveX control works fine for desktop version, although it does take some finess in linking and positioning - now that we're working remote, we're using Office 365 with Sharepoint, but ActiveX and macros have gone out the window with this online platform.
I feel like any cell formatted as "date" should have the date picker available - both for desktop and online.
