Allow left and right vertical axes to sync their gridlines
Suppose we have a left and a right vertical axis. One axis could have, say, five labels and tick marks, and the other could have seven. But there's no way to synchronize those items so that their gridlines can overlap.
To implement this, you could offer a check box that would synchronize the two axes, or you could allow us to specify the number of tick marks on each axis so we could synchronize them ourselves. Better yet, you could offer both options.
i was looking how to turn on minor ticks on both axes and found this idea. Thought i would "bump" this thread back on the 2018 radar with an upvote and comment.

Can't believe how few vtes this has! For me, having a primary axis and secondary axis that can't both share gridlines is so clunky. If you want to read both axes against gridlines you have to either scale the axes manually, or add gridlines to both, which is so messy.
