Possible to have Excel split worksheet into more than two vertical sections?
With Dual Screens almost standard in the Business World, and data columns increasing in number, there are times when we are finding ourselves somewhat frustrated at the vertical screen split limitation. Would it be possible to allow the end user to split the worksheet into more than two vertical sections. Even three sections would be a fantastic help. This would allow the viewing of the beginning, middle and end of the data set, not just select two of the three.

I usually work on spreadsheets over 500 columns and think it would be nice this, frequently I need viewing data at the same time from the different parts of the sheet and have to jump from side to side.

Or even if this not possible, how about allowing freeze pane within each window split?

Hi Kenneth,
Thank you for responding. While the post is similar, what I would really like to see is a "dual" SPLIT choice on the lower right hand side. There is currently only one choice, but instead of one split enabling two ranges, why not have two vertical splits with three viewable ranges.Example Data Range = A:BM. What I am looking for is to be able to spilt the this range into Cols C:J, Cols AA:AC and Cols BB:BG. Then to be able to float around in those selections to view Cols A:H, Cols Z:AB, or Cols BD:BI.
This would enable me to move independently (left or right) within each those selections. Similar to what is available now (A & B), but instead have the option of three split vertical ranges (A, B & C)
Thanks,
