Switch to previous tab by clicking currently active one (as an option).
After (temporary) jump to some tab (sheet) in the same workbook, often I would like to return to the previously active sheet. So I need to look for the proper tab and not always it's easy. It would be much easier to activate the previous one just by clicking currently active tab. This feature could be optional.

Most of what I do in Excel (and also Word) is done on the Home tab. There needs to be a way to keep the Home tab active once you click on it, but be able to go to another tab if needed.I will use a Ficticious ID to post this so my email does not get overloaded with stuff I don't want. You should not require an email anyway because of this type problem.

As a workaround until Microsoft adds this type of feature natively, the FormulaDesk add-in allows you to CTRL+TAB to switch between current sheet and previous sheet, plus other features: http://www.formuladesk.com
@Nick, it also has a back button which has ALT+LEFT as a shortcut (ALT+RIGHT for forward)
A Back button as found in web browsers would be a more general solution:
