Cortana assistance with searching for and entering data
Was a little late to the party posting this in the Excel AMA, so I'm posting it here:

Wanted to share thoughts on how I'm currently using OK Google and how Cortana could enhance this in a more practical desktop experience.
Probably the most unique application I use OK Google in is when playing Kerbal Space Program and finishing an interplanetary transfer. Here I use the website https://alterbaron.github.io/ksp_aerocalc/ to get a rough estimate of my aerobrake maneuver (I now the atmosphere model there is old, but that's besides the point). Anyway while I'm doing other things in the game like running science experiments I just say "OK Google, KSP Aerobraking Calculator" which I will pull up a link to that website. I then just tap on that and then tap and swipe through the necessary fields using voice dictation to enter the values.
So what if instead of using OK Google and a website, I could use a spreadsheet and formulas to do this with Cortana? I could tell Cortana to open up my aerobraking calculator spreadsheet and it would even be better if she could identify what the fields are labled so I could just say "Cortana, set periapsis to 18,234 km, orbital velocity to 329, and altitude to 932,824 km"; then "What is my aerobraking periapsis for a desired apoapsis of 1,000km". Here she could say what the resulting value is and high light it; bonus points for being able to do this on a secondary monitor in the background of the PC I'm playing the game on.
Bridging this into mundane work tasks say I'm working on a document in Word and I need some sort of information from an excel spreadsheet. It would be great if I would continue working in the Word while asking Cortana to look information in that spreadsheet for me. Like "Cortana, look up the shipping address for Bob's Auto Repair in the 2013 Client Spreadsheet." From here Cortana would open "2013 Client Spreadsheet.xls" from my documents in Excel and then look up the address field in a row that also contains "Bob's Auto Repair". Again bonus points for highlighting this in the background on a secondary monitor. Also having commands like "Cortana, Copy that to the clipboard", or "Change that to 20934 Springfield Dr.", etc. would be pretty great too!
