Auto resizing of formula bar
Give us an easily accessible option to have the formula bar resize automatically if a formula spans across multiple rows in the formula bar so the whole formula will be visible.
Thanks for the suggestion. I think I’ve seen some related requests, I’ll look at merging them to make sure the votes properly reflect the ask. We’ll prioritize this into the execution pipe appropriately based on the number of votes.
Cheers,

It'll be useful if on can manipulate the font of the formula bar (without having to change default font of the application)... is so useful to write formulas with monospaced fonts.
An auto format (like DAX formatter) would be also a great option.

While you are at it, how about a Zoom function to make the fonts in the formula bar larger. On 4K monitors, you need dentist glasses to see the tiny fonts in the formula bar.

What about allowing us to create multiline formulas like in DAX (PowerPivot) with tabs and comments? Excel formulas are still a nightmare to troubleshoot.

Lordy, if we can resize a window, the formula bar can certainly upsize by a line every time we run off the end or type AltEnter... He's got it exactly, it's incredibly reasonable, no need for colors or "More" or anything short of exactly this.

Or at least make it visually obvious that a formula has more than what can be seen in the formula bar. When the formula bar wraps, perhaps a tooltip could appear that says "See more".

I posted an idea to change the formula bar colour, which I think is what Col Delane is referring to:
The intention of my idea was to ensure users don't overlook parts of the formula that can't be seen, which I think is the intention of this idea as well. So you might want to merge my idea into this one.

I came to this Excel.UserVoice.com site to make this EXACT suggestion. Thank you for submitting it and I vote YES!!

Col can you post a link to the request/idea that you are referring to? I haven't seen a duplicate of this one.
Thanks
