Unhide multiple worksheets at once
We can hide several worksheets at once, but we can only show them individually.
Although the VBA can solve this issue with some lines of code, but it would be a great improvement if you add this capability to Excel as a build in feature.
772 votesWe are excited to share an update on the feature availability. This is available on Excel Insiders min build: 16.0.13525.10000, and on Mac Insiders min build:16.44.1125.0. We will post updates here as this rolls out to Current Channel. (A description of Office channels can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/overview-update-channels )
If you are excited by this change or have comments for us, please share at File→Feedback.
Thanks, Urmi

Bring back Notes from the previous build.
I don't understand why the old Note system was entirely removed. It functioned perfectly as a simplified system of comments. I just need to leave a small amount of additional data which can be viewed quickly by mousing over the cell. The new comment system is cumbersome by comparison, and adds no value for my purposes.
7 votesThe option to add Notes and Comments from the right click menu should be available again now

The Conditional Formatting Rules Manager badly needs the ability to be resized
The Conditional Formatting Rules Manager dialog box is far too small for modern display resolutions. It really should be a resizeable dialog, and should include the ability to resize column widths, so that the full length of complex conditional formatting expressions can be displayed and read without having to open them for editing.
192 votesWe’ve started rolling out the improvement to make the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager and rules dialogs resizable in Excel for Windows.
If you have the latest update, you may already have the improvement. Make sure you update to version 16.0.136 or greater, and you should see the changes soon, if not already.
Thanks for all the votes and comments for this suggestion.

Lambda Functions
Allow users to define custom non-VBA functions from built in functions, this can be used to simplify complex functions that are used often e.g.
FastVlookup = (X, Y, Z) => IF(VLOOKUP(X,Y,1,TRUE)=X,VLOOKUP(X,Y,Z,TRUE),NA())
9 votesGood news! We have added support for native lambdas as of today in Insiders: Beta.
Please see this post for more details:

Restore the pasting of tab separated text into columns from an HTML <pre> block and web data feed that has been removed from v16.0.7927.1020
When using data/from web or pasting a table from word or pasting an HTML <pre> block from a web page the tab separated data used to get automatically placed into columns. With v16.0.7927.1020 this has stopped - all the data goes into one column. There remains the option (checked by default) to do this when ingesting data from the web, but it no longer happens. When ingesting data from a web feed, you can't use the "paste as text" option to achieve this effect, so this change in behaviour has effectively broken our application's reporting facility. It still works in…

Maintain leading zeroes when entering values in cells
There should be an application setting OR paste recovery option OR cell format to retain leading zeroes when entering values in cells (either manually or through another means like CSV import).
(2015-11-05 Dan [MS] Updated idea title and description to broaden this issue from maintaining leading zeros on CSV data import to maintaining them on any cell entry.)

QAT Spacing
The QAT spacing on the 2016 version is impossible to work with and forcing me to look at creating a new tab. I liked the spacing on 2013 which allowed me to view all my written macros and buttons. The new spacing pushed 5 of my buttons to a drop down. Please correct this spacing issue. The spacing does not need to be this large when you don't have a touch screen. I am one of 35 employees in my company that this effects. We have a customized QAT that all employees use.
93 votesThis one is getting underway – we’ve been channeling the feedback to the core team in Office that owns that UI, and they’re working on it!
