1. ## Creation of PPT slides directly from excel Sheet

I would like to see a new feature in excel, where from just one click we can export the excel sheet , charts ,objects in powerpoint slides.

The above fuctions give the directions in the 4 quadrans for all the pairs of dx and dy.

No option to set AutoFill default to the option you want.
Even for numbers or dates you should be able to use "Copy Cells" in stead of "Fill series"

6. ## Allow Excel Macros to be written in PowerShell

Allow Excel Macros to be written in PowerShell.
It would also be amazing if it could be used as an alternative to field functions such as "=PRODUCT(A1:A10))"

I believe that Microsoft Excel naively supporting PowerShell as a 21st century alternative to VBA would be the most beneficial change made to the software since release.

Almost all Microsoft products are becoming PowerShell integrated, yet Office remains only supporting VBA.
VBA is an archaic procedural language which despite its ambivalent love from the community, seems to have little to no place in the modern world.
PowerShell can directly interact with COM objects…

7. ## Keep offline help for both EXCEL and VBA

Please return offline help like in Excel 2010 (for VBA and Excel)... It is enugh to have just basic offline help without totally up to date informations in 98% cases.

8. ## QAT Spacing

The QAT spacing on the 2016 version is impossible to work with and forcing me to look at creating a new tab. I liked the spacing on 2013 which allowed me to view all my written macros and buttons. The new spacing pushed 5 of my buttons to a drop down. Please correct this spacing issue. The spacing does not need to be this large when you don't have a touch screen. I am one of 35 employees in my company that this effects. We have a customized QAT that all employees use.

10. ## VBA ScreenUpdating-Property does not work in Excel 2016!

The VBA Application.ScreenUpdating-Property does not work properly in Excel 2016 / Win 10. See attached screenshot. The screen is updated after each step in VBA, although the ScreenUpdating is set to False. The property worked nicely in Office 2007 / Vista.
It would be nice to have this bug fixed as quickly as possible, since I have hundreds of Makros who depend on this property.

11. ## Pivot Table Default Number Formatting

When a field is added to the values area the number formatting should default to the number formatting of the field in the source data. Every time a field is added to the values area, the user has to change the number format. It defaults to General, which is ugly. Most of the time the user will change the formatting to something similar to how the number is formatted in the source data. This feature would save users a lot of time.

12. ## Create a command line tool for signing Office files with a digital certificate

Besides Office, Excel files can be created using numerous software tools. More often than not, batches of macro-enabled Excel files are processed with scripts for productivity purposes. However, VBA code signing cannot be part of an automated process, as it is a manual task that requires opening & saving the file in Excel.

This request is about creating a command line tool for signing Office files with a digital certificate, similar to MS SignTool.

In addition, the existing macro signing process in Office is not 100% compatible with Open XML specifications. I can clarify this statement in a private discussion…

14. ## What-if Data Table calc should use multi-threading

Calculation Performance of iterative what-if Data Tables is unnecessarily slow. The reasons seem to be (in priority sequence):
- the overhead for the whole table calculation looks larger than it should be
- the process starts with a recalc, then does each iteration, then ends with a recalc: the first recalc is unnecessary
- if the values to be used in one of the iterations are the same as the start values the recalc for that set of values could be skipped

15. ## Allow us to disable "double click to move"

Double-clicking to move to the beginning or end of the cells is useful for some, but for others it drags our productivity down. Please allow us to toggle the option to navigate using double-click so the users who are adversely affected by it can turn it off.

16. ## Add an easy way (Ribbon button) to change text casing (UPPER, lower, Sentence, etc.)

Currently Excel is the only Office application that doesn't have the ribbon-button to change selected text to uppercase or lowercase.
The only way to do it is to use the function =UPPER() and then copy/paste the resulted value into the original cell.
It would be good to have a button to change the selected text to uppercase or lowercase.

By creating the advantage of the proposed Function and formulas recommended
Such as recommended pivot tables and recommended charts

For example, the work of options for the user
For example if he wanted to compile on terms, he would have the formula SUMIFS ready and only a choice
Also like the search that VLOOKUP uses
And so on

18. ## Display Status Bar of Inactive Window 2016 Excel

In Excel 2010 we were able to highlight numbers and have their sums displayed in the grey status bar towards the bottom of the sheet. Working with 2 monitors, this feature was very helpful.

After upgrading to Excel 2016 the status bar of the non active/selected workbook disappears instead of the sum being viewable of the non active workbook.

The feature was helpful for at least 2 open excel instances where we can view the sum of the non active workbook and it would be great to have back instead of being forced to click in out of each workbook…

19. ## Sensible date formatting on X-axis of XY-scatter charts

If the X-axis of an XY-scatter chart is DATES, then it would be great to have the option to select the x-axis category labels to be spaced by (eg) months, years, etc like you can do for a line-chart. The advantage of being able to use an XY-scatter chart with this proposed functionality is that not all plotted series have to share the same x-series. Thank you!

20. ## Extend VLOOKUP() and HLOOKUP()

Extend the lookup functions so they can lookup left/up as well as right/down. That will save us having to build and maintain unintuitive formulae combining INDEX() and MATCH().
