1. ## text water mark

Right now we have only Addition of picture for watermark. Adding text water mark option as given in ms word will help us a lot.

2. ## financial market information disclaimer

I know this has been requested in the past by others. But:
The Financial Market Disclaimer, across the top of the spreadsheet, when using stock data, needs to be removed as it is in the users face. Just have one universal acknowledgment, like the investment banks have, and remove the disclaimer.

3. ## SUMCOLS and SUMROWS functions for Dynamic Arrays

Create new functions that SUM each column in a dynamic array (SUMCOLS(Ref#)) to produce a row of totals, and SUM each row to produce a column of totals (SUMROWS(Ref#))

Also COUNTCOLS, COUNTROWS, AVERAGECOLS, AVERAGEROWS, but these are less important than SUMCOLS & SUMROWS.

6. ## There is No direct command for clearing the Data Validation on the Ribbon

Everyone is using Data Validation in Excel for simple or complex projects. However if you decide to clear your data validation rules there is No direct command on the ribbon to do that: So you have to go to the Data Tab >> Open the data Validation dialog box >> Click on Clear All >> Close the dialog Box.
My suggestion is to integrate this functionality with the Data Validation button in the ribbon (as explained in the attached Graphic) which will enable the user with a click to either clear Data Validation from a selected range or from the…

With the tables, if the header is not visible, Excel displays the headers of the table in the columns headers (see the picture attached)

It will be great to have the same behaviour with the pivot tables

We’d like to see how many votes this gets as a way to help us prioritize the work. Thanks!

8. ## Improve Table Design Tab Appearance and Functionality

There is No synchronization between the Filter command on the Table Design Tab and the similar command on the Data Tab. So if you apply a Filter from the Data Tab then clear it, the corresponding Filter command on the Table Design is inactive. On the Other hand, if you insert a Slicer from the Table Design Tab ► it inactivates the Filtering commands on the Data Tab. Filter on all tabs should synchronize together as well as with the Slicer.
Looking at the distribution of commands on the Table design Tab, I would prefer removing the Filter command from…

9. ## Money in Excel adding subcategories

every time I try and add a subcategory - for example - auto insurance I get

Category changes not saved

I've tried entering it under the category Auto and Bills; neither will allow me to add the subcategory. This is not just for this example. this happens EVERY TIME I TRY AND ADD ONE. ITS ANNOYING AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED

10. ## Real time results for formula bar in the cell

If landed on a cell, the formula bar gets started in select all mode(screenshot) and the result gets displayed in the cell with a different colour (to mention its result of a formula and not a absolute value) rather than displaying the formula itself again(current feature)

But, any arrow key input navigates the cell and not the formula bar unless its clicked on

This way, no compromises to the current feature is made and any corrections can be rectified easily.

11. ## CTRL+M to launch Power Query Editor

Well, we know that
the language behind Power Query is called M;
it takes at least three clicks to launch Power Query Editor;
the shortcut CTRL+M is currently unassigned...
Why not using CTRL+M to launch Power Query Editor?

12. ## Option to allow add-ins in restricted workbook (IRM)

The new Information Rights Management (IRM) is great to protect workbooks from being opened or edited by non authorized users.
Unfortunately it also deactivates all ad-ins. In principle this makes sense as add-ins can access and modify information within the workbook. However, current restrictions go a bit too far as even as an owner/author of the workbook with FULL CONTROL my add-ins are deactivated. Should I not have full rights to do anything with the workbook? In our company thousands of users across EMEA use a self developed add-in to calculate service costs. Now they cannot use IRM as it…

14. ## Stop Neglecting UserVoice

There are over 8000 requests in the Win10 Desktop forum while less than 600 have been tagged. It's riddled with duplicates, requests containing many different changes, bad titles, ancient posts, etc.

I don't think anyone posting in the forum feels like they have a 'voice'. They're just adding to the noise.

More staff, community moderation, a more extensive roadmap, curated feature requests up for voting, large-scale deleting of old posts, deleting the forum, anything! This is just not productive.

15. ## Excel subcells (unlimited formatting possibilities)

Spreadsheets needs a radical improvement, no spreadsheets at the moment allows subcolumns creating subcells. This would improve the formatting dramatically. We should not have just letters, A, B, C, D... we should be able to divide these columns (letters) in subcolumns and subcells A, A1, A2... but...
As they are right now (classic style). No subcolumn, no subcell, Column A, Row 2: Read: A2
Just columns could be divided with subcolumns, this generates a subcell (comprised with the subcolumn and the row)
Rows…

17. ## Improving 'Refers to' Navigation in Name Manager's New Name dialog

An accepted issue for many years, the 'Refers to:' box in the 'New Name' dialog is troublesome when you wish to edit or move within this box using the arrow keys. This is because the cell references change instead.

Given LAMBDA is going to use this interface, and the formulae may be long (pointed out by fellow MVP Oz du Soleil), isn't it time this were fixed?

This issue catches us all out from time to time and I struggle to see the benefit of using the arrow keys to change the cell references here.

18. ## Lambda optional parameters

Using the new lambda function, can we have the ability to put parameter names in square brackets to turn them into optional parameters for the user?
LAMBDA(parameter1, parameter2, [parameter3])
This would be extremely useful for reusable functions. For example, I've created a function that combines arrays, but I don't want to have limit that function to passing only a specific number of arrays or forcing the user to enter commas for the remaining criteria. Similar to index, or sumifs or other function that has optional parameters please!
Also, if you're feeling generous, I'd love the option of hidden parameters too,…

19. ## Property in Power Query "Enable background refresh" - default to unchecked

When creating a new query in Power Query, by default the property "Enable background refresh" is enabled. Please make this property be unchecked by default. The cases where I need this property disabled outgrow at large the cases where the background refresh can be turned on.

20. ## SUBSTITUTES function supporting arrays of "find" and "replace" parameters

From time to time, users need to remove multiple characters from a string. For example, you might want to remove all punctuation, or all accented characters.

Right now, you have to do that with a lengthy nested formula using the SUBSTITUTE function. Such formulas are hard to read and challenging for a novice to debug. Or you could write a VBA user-defined function that performs each of the substitutions for you.

The better approach would be a SUBSTITUTES function that works like SUBSTITUTE but accepts an array (or range of cells) for the Find parameter, and possibly also for the…
