  2. Paste Special - Formulas without Adjusting References

There should be a Paste Special option to paste formulas without updating relative references.

  4. Separate Excel windows shall not share an UNDO buffer.

Sorry Microsoft, but you really blew it in the 2016 update. Separate Excel windows used to be separate Excel windows. Now they share the same buffers for Undo, copy/paste, and highlighting. This is really limiting when working comparatively on two spreadsheets.

  5. Change shortcut paste special addition as it has always been (French O365)

    Hello
Excel is a wonderful soft. Nevertheless sometimes developers make counterproductive changes:
On office 365 French version, the keyboard shortcut (small underlined letter) of the paste special Addition « d » has been replaced by “Ajouter” « j ». Total lack of ergonomics on an azerty Keyboard because « j » breaks your wrist.
Total lack of common sense on this change which use to be since 2003. On a mathematical lexical point of view, a substraction is a substraction (shortcut « s ») and an addition is an addition (shortcut « d » beside the « s » on…

  7. FIND by value does not work with common Number Formats!

When I use FIND by Value cells containing 1000, Excel fails in finding cells containing =800+200 and formatted with #,##0. I think this is a bug... but it's there since 1990!!? (see attached)
It looks like it's not finding by value, but instead by displayed string, which is clearly what the user is NOT expecting...
The idea here would be to search by "RAW" VALUE and not by FORMATTED VALUE (not sure is this is easily feasible though...)

  8. limit data validation dropdowns to unique values

Using a list as the source for an in-cell dropdown, the user should be able to decide whether this list should automatically be taylored to unique values or not (as ist is at the very moment).
Not every data model is perfect, and sometimes values are redundant, but it still would be useful to use that input for "select from list".

  9. Adding a defined name to a formulat

When attempting to add a defined name to a formula, currently you must type, scroll to and then click with the mouse.
Have the ability to assign the defined name using the keyboard.

  10. Flash Fill Month in Swedish

    License is Office 365 Business Premium | Version 2003 Build 16.0.12624.20348 (64bit)
Freshly installed Office on a HP Wind10 Core i7 10th Gen.
Default language installed is English + Swedish Language Pack installed and integrated with the application.

The default language is set to Swedish already. When we type "January" on cell A1, we drag the cell down and it automatically flash fills until December seamlessly. However, doing it in Swedish language doesn't work, ie, typing "Januari" from cell B1 and dragging it down and manually selecting Flash Fill, it does not automatically populate all the months of the year…

  12. Find number values, regardless of formatting

When you try to find values which have been formatted as financial and you try to find a value withouth the ",", it fails. This may also be a bug because in Find options, the 'Look In' selection has an impact as to whether this works propoerly.

When you Look In Values, the "," is needed, but when you Look In Formulas, it succeeds. This appears to be incorrect.

  13. Allow formulas in Worksheet names

Would it be possible that worksheet names are implemented like cells, meaning that you may enter a value (e.g. "Budget" or "Sales 2019") or a formula (e.g. ="Proposal of "&$B$11 displaying "Proposal of May 11 2019", because B11 contains 11-May-2019) ? in VBA, Worksheet.Name would be the value, Worksheet.NameFormula would be the formula.
    Thank you!

  14. Copy multi-line text from Excel and paste without quotes

Currently, when copying multi-line cells in Excel and pasting the text to a browser or Notepad, for example, quotation marks are added around the text. And I have to go and manually remove those quotes every time. With a tool like Excel, which has many cells, this can become very tedious and repetitive. I would really appreciate an option that we can tick or so, which allows us to copy the text, with the line breaks and all, but without the quotation marks around the text. Thank you.

Add emoji support for cells. this would not be in the comments section, it would just show in the top right corner like in a Teams chat

  19. allow autocomplete function when entering data in cell lthat uses a list for data validation.

allow autocomplete function when entering data in cell that uses a list for data validation.
I have columns that need to be filled out using list validation due to the many options and the need for data quality. It would be great if autocomplete would work on this option to prevent long time scrolling to the correct option. This feature needs to be standard and not VB due to safety concerns.
