  1. Last sheet

    Add a keyboard shortcut to navigate to the last used worksheet.
    Ideally the 'previous sheet' object would be per workbook.

    I have this as a macro set to Alt+ Caps (plus code to revert the capslock state so that it doesn't change) so I know its possible but I think this would be very useful for others.

    This is extremely useful in general, but especially so in a workbook with lots of tabs where you would otherwise have to scroll through the tab list.

    Pressing alt+Caps multiple times switches back and forth between 2 sheets (i.e. it doesn't keep cycling…

  3. bring back the jump-to-last-tab buttons --

    Please bring back the jump-to-last-tab buttons. Think of the person who works with 20+ tabs in every file. The missing button is becoming more and more frustrating the more I work in it. I don't want to have to use two hands (CTRL button). I dont want 3+ keystrokes to get there. I want to be able to click once and get to the last tab please?

  5. Kindly incorporate a way to higlight my entire current row and coloum of a active cell.

    A similar kind of functionality is built into KU Tools adinn. I have attached screen shot for reference..

  6. Give an open workbook/worksheet focus to scroll without having to click on it

    When you have multiple workbooks open, you must actually click n the workbook you want to scroll within before the mouse scroll wheel will act on it. Most other Windows in Windows 20 will accept scroll commands simply by hovering on them. Can Excel behave in the same way, providing scroll input based on mouse cursor position?

  7. It would be great if I could use CTRL+F to do a search on two or more worksheets independetly. It now works only on the workbook in focus.

    Basically I need more than one instance of CTRL+F to search for different terms in different worksheets at the same time. As it is, a second CTRL+F will overwrite the previous search term.

  8. Freeze panes: enter rows and columns in a dialog box

    If you need to freeze rows and columns, you must know, that you have to selct a certain cell.
    I'd prefer a procedure analogous setting print titles: a dialog box, that allows you to enter rows and columns for the freezing

    you should be able to pin a workbook from inside the workbook. sometimes when i close the workbook, i look to pin it but it doesnt come up .

  10. Add "Tab Color" Option but for When you have Multiple Files Open

    I usually have 5-10 Workbooks open because of the nature of my work, and usually the thumbnails look exactly the same (just rows of data). I'd like to be able to "tab color" them slightly (like just a yellow or pink or green or blue semi shade--opaque to still see the document though) to be able to quickly distinguish between each when working between a ton of documents. I want to right click the window and have the option to color it

  12. Separate and small screen to appear (with data nearby cells) while I use a cell reference or value to find something

    If we can have a small excel screen to show separately with all data nearby while we use a cell reference or value to find something, this will help to edit, view data in an another part of a big excel file from anywhere in an excel sheet.

    This will avoid us moving back and forth between cells or cell range where we are working.

  13. Option to show comments indicator, but not automatically popup the comment on hover or select.

    Add an option to show the comments indicator, but not pop-up on hover. Instead show indicator and then include a right click option within the cell to show the comment popup. That way comment popups don't show up on hover at all, but an indicator shows that a comment is present. It enables the ability to selectively show a comment instead of always showing a comment when one selects or hovers on a cell.

  15. Simultaneously freeze column and row

    I've seen this request back in 2017, but would like to revive it.

    I'd like to be able to freeze or split the screen so a column AND row area are frozen simultaneously.
    Say if you currently freeze rows and columns above and to the left of D4. If you start scrolling down, also the content of Columns A-C will move. If you scroll to the right, the content of rows 1-3 will move.
    I'd like for only everything to the right and below D4 to move.
    Probably somebody will tell me to use pivots, but I think this is…

  18. highlight the cell you are currently working into make it easier to know where you are

    Greying of the cell you are working in would make it easier to know where you are. Currently the cell has a coloured boundary and an indicator, but when you are scrolling it is sometimes difficult to see this. I know the line number and column number/name are highlighted on the side and on the top. but as a user I normally focus on the cell and only use the side and top to confirm. An extra physical function that would not be necessary. For your consideration. Maybe its already there and I can't find it :)
