  1. Have a formatting option to add a line above a letter, opposite of underline, which helps in writing statistics

    Statistics uses a line above a letter, such as X to signify sample means, but Excel does not allow you to write it out. MS Office should allow you to place a line above a letter. Place this next to the underline option or in the formatting page where you can strikethrough.

  2. If you select Fit Outline size from Enclosed Characters in Word for Office 365, the font size in the characters does not change, but you wan

    In the monthly channel, if you select Fit Outer Border Size from Enclosed Characters as the expected behavior, the character should be resized with the default font size, but it is not resized.
    Instead of displaying Field Codes each time and changing the font size, if you select Fit Outline Size, i want the characters in the box to be automatically resized.

    Semi-annual channels are resized, but monthly channels are not resized.

    タイトル (日本語) : Word for Office 365 の [囲い文字] から [外枠のサイズを合わせる] を選択しても文字が中のフォントサイズが変わらず文字がはみ出るのを改善してほしい。

    本文 (日本語) : 月次チャネルにおいて、期待の動作としては [囲い文字] から [外枠のサイズを合わせる] を選択した場合、〇 は既定のフォントサイズで文字はリサイズされるはずがリサイズされない動作になっている。
    都度、[フィールドコード] を表示してフォントサイズを修正するのではなく、 [外枠のサイズを合わせる] を選択した場合は中の文字は自動的にリサイズしてほしい。

    半期チャネルはリサイズされるが、月次チャネルはリサイズされない。

  3. conditional formatting: change a possibly misleading text

    Replace "Regels wissen" ("Clear lines") as shown in the attached picture by something less alarming. Clear lines suggest the content of the lines is removed.

  4. ORGANIZAÇÃO DOS NÚMEROS DA COLUNA

    Sou contadora e trabalho com prestação de contas. Com isso os orçamentos tem numeração sequencial com dois ou três digitos (1.1 ou 1.10 ou 1.10.1) como organizar a sequência no Excel tipo 1.1, 1.2, 1.10 e não 1.1, 1.10 e 1.2? Poderiam me ajudar?

  6. Conditional formatting for duplicates

    Id like to be able to set the number of instances before it highlights. right now the only options are duplicates and singles. one of the charts I use, everything is duplicates. if something is actually duplicated, it occurs 4 times.

  7. Simple way to fomat "copied" numbers showing as text/numbers sitting to left of cell to number format

    When staff are copying and pasting account codes into existing templates ( which we need to upload) ..the copied data is nearly always showing as text/sitting to the left & the code length changes to 1 … ….I am forever changing data to number format by clicking on the either 1) green symbol, 2) text to columns, 3) paste special ( multiplying all data by 1 to change the data to number format).. I then go to Format cells > Custom > enter the code length in the type box e.g. to change the data to 4 numbers ..I enter…

  10. a handler to define boundaries of the work area

    many users use only left top area of an excel sheet compared to its huge breadth and depth. it is not necessary to fall full length down south to Antarctica or go to far east. if we can flexible (draggable) boundary in right side and bottom side of the sheet, it will be handy.
    optionally you may put two inputboxesto include limitations by no of columns and rows

    Hey - have an issue using F4 function to repeat font color and fill color in the latest Office 365 excel. Version detail as below -

    Office 365 MSO 16.0.12228.20232 64-bit
    Win10 Professional 1809 17763.379

    Issue is -

    pretty much everything action could be repeated using F4 except font color and fill color in this latest version Excel. The tricky thing is, if I'm going to repeat a fill color action without changing the default fill color (which is yellow) - it works.   14. Allow for following hyperlinks when clicked to be temporarily disabled.

    An option to temporarily disable hyperlinks within spreadsheets would be great as it's inconvenient when I accidentally click on hyperlinks while I'm working (which becomes common when I'm constructing spreadsheets to act as a navigation panel for company files, meaning the use of many hyperlinks and the need to often edit cells connected to hyperlinks).

  16. Put the workshees at the top

    Selecting tabs along the top of the program is now standard UI design. Excel presents "tabs"(worksheets) by putting them along the bottom. This causes confusion and many people don't even realized that it is possible to have multiple sheets on one file. Moving the tabs to the top would standardize the interface and exposed the feature to average users. It would also remove the need to "train" people on how to use the feature, as their experience with every other piece of common software would let them know how to use it already.     Rather than manually adding a threshold value to a cell in custom cell format it would be useful to be able to reference another cell containing the value you wish to use.
