I don't see this option. If I open a csv file I get no conversion, i.e. rows are not splitted. This seems to me a basic functionality and I don't understand how you think we can continue to use excel online with tons of limitations.

Wondering if we can work on csv files online similar way we collaborate in excel online multi user working at same file. Not sure what are the challenges to provide this functionality, if not technical or security challenges so it should be there.

This seems to work today.
CSV files is the basics of basics, how can you not be able to open this file format?
Import a csv file would be nice in the online version
Excel Online cannot open .CSV files.
Excel online should allow for this so that it's more like Excel.
Even Google Sheets allows a user to open a .CSV file.
Please allow for this, and also increase the functionality of MS Office Online in general. There is no reason for them to be so severely limited.
I clicked on a Sharepoint link to a .CSV file that was too large for Excel Online to open. It would be very useful if there was a way to download files that are too big for Office Online to open. As it is, I'm stuck!
As we begin to use Office Groups, the sharing and collaboration become more important. Not being able to work with Excel Online and csv is creating added effort when ease of use is supposed theme.

I need to import files from PC to open in Excel online
as CSV is the most basic dataset format, allowing an online editor to work with CSV would be a really good idea
