Excel Online

Welcome to the Excel Online feedback forum! This is the place for users to send us suggestions and ideas on how to improve. To help us build the best version of Excel ever, we have partnered with UserVoice, a third-party service, to create this site to hear your suggestions and ideas for the next version of Excel. Your use of the portal and your submission is subject to the UserVoice Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, including the license terms. Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos for which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft.

  3. Please make Office Online Server available as a stand-alone product.

We are looking to set up Office Online Server but do not want to purchase SharePoint On-Prem or Exchange. We would like to just purchase Office Online Server.

  4. Passing slicer/filter values via URL to excel services

Passing slicer/filter values via URL to excel services

Power view allows you to pass slicer/filter parameter values into a report.

    Example

http://sharepoint/.../ReportServer/AdHocReportDesigner.aspx?RelativeReportUrl=/Power View Library/PPF_PV.rdlx&ViewMode=Presentation&ReportSection=ReportSection2&rf=[dataset].[region] eq 'GREATER BAY AREA BANKING'

so if excel services on sharepoint allowed this?

https://sharepoint/.../myexcel.xlsx?Web=1&reportfilter=[slicer name] eq 'GREATER BAY AREA BANKING'
