Excel Online Cell Movement After Enter

When editing an Excel Online documents, hitting [ENTER] will drop you down to the next row, same column. Generally hitting [ENTER] will return you to the next row, but in the column your previous modified cell was in.

And tab does not work either, both of these functions are used always when using excel, adding these functionality to excel online would be great thanks!

Start at A1. Enter data, <Tab>, enter data, <Tab>, enter data, <Tab>, enter data, <Enter>
Should take you to B1, not B4.

Please make this customizable. Very time consuming at data entry to hit an arrow key after Enter to move the cursor to the cell you intend to use next

Please make this customizable as with the desktop version. Very frustrating to have different behavior in different versions.

I too feel this feature is critical to business functions. We use excel for stock taking worksheets and use a bar code scanner. Each time we scan to an online worksheet we then have to manually change the direction of the cell.

I need to be able to have the cell shift to the right when I hit enter. Please update asap! Thanks!

The default cursor movement of Excel online should be identical to the client version of Excel. Entering data in the online version is cumbersome at best. Without this feature, it will be difficult to convince users that Excel online is a good option for their daily work. They will quickly notice this productivity preventer.

need a way to change default cursor movement in Excel Online after hitting enter. Yes, you can change cursor movement via Options when editing locally - but there is no Options selection Online
