Power Pivot: Enable users to reference data model tables and columns in the Excel's main formula bar
Please give us the ability to use data model tables and columns in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions. That would be so nice!
The data model is really useful but all we can do with it right now is create pivot tables and charts. Adding this feature would allow Excel users to use the data in the data model in a customized way and without having to load all the data into a Excel sheet in the workbook.
Cube value functions are complex, they also don't work when trying to fetch text columns.

Value field In a Pivot Table
In Value Field in a Pivot Table there are various options of calculation of that field . At times one may not require calculation but to display the values as in source Cell. so in calculation option one more option may be added "same as Source Cell"

allow show detail in pivot tables online. I don't understand why microsoft makes it so hard to do basic functions.
Why does microsoft want customers to step back into the 1990s for the online version. it degrades your brand. Show details in a pivot table is very basic. And its not on your joke of an online version

Allow Edit on PivotTables Data Values
Currently it is not possible to edit the data on a pivottable in Web.
There is a property enableDataValueEditing which nly works on Windows but not on Web Excel. We have a requirement were the user makes edit on the pivot and then via the worksheet change event we update the data source (table on another sheet) and then refresh the PivotTableso so that the changes are preserved.

Excel Power Query
Make it possible to match two sets of data using more than one reference column ,for example, if table1 has columns Bar Code, Description and Cost and table2 has columns Date, Bar Code and Cost, it should be possible to match the two data sets say using Bar code and Cost columns

Please add see details to the pivot table
Please for the love! Add "See Details" to the online version of excel. In fact, just make the desktop version the online version. Desktop is the best and would make everyone so happy.

PivotTables created with Power BI using Analyze In Excel should work after publishing to Power BI
Power BI's Analyze in Excel functionality allows Excel users on the desktop to create reports using PivotTables and cube formulas connected to a published Power BI dataset. However (and this is very hard to explain to customers) these reports only work on the desktop: even though Power BI allows you to publish Excel workbooks to an App Workspace, reports created using Analyze In Excel do not work after they have been published to Power BI because Excel Online does not support connections to Power BI. Please fix this!
683 votesWe are working on enabling connectivity from Excel on the web to Power BI. When this work is completed, a PivotTable that is connected to a Power BI dataset will be fully interactive when displayed in Excel on the web. It won’t matter how the PivotTable was created, whether by Analyze in Excel or in some other way. We look forward to implementing and deploying this capability, but I am not yet able to commit to a delivery date.
