Allow for personal user views/filters
When using Excel Online, if you add a filter, everyone using that spreadsheet in Excel Online will see that filter. Can you please add an option for only the one user to see that filter?

We are excited to announce that Sheet View is now available on Excel Web!
Thank you all for voting and influencing Excel Online priorities. Keep voting for other ideas you want us to address.
Thanks,
Excel Team [MSFT]

Can you please add that user-specific filter feature for users editing files in the desktop app? I agree with Murray Mclean

Und was mache ich, wenn wir die Frage falsch beantwortet haben und wir die Einstellung nachträglich ändern wollen? Im Deutschen ist die Frage schwer zu verstehen. Es ist nicht erkennbar welche Auswirkung die Antwort hat.

Hi All.
Any possibility to have an option to filter by colour on the online version?
Thanks in advance. -

@Abner, Did you just read the original request and not notice the update? Your post sounds like that. If there are issues with the new "Sheet View" that you have, well that would be helpful to hear. But the original post, and your critique, at this point is obsolete.

it's been so many years since MS offered team collaboration on Office products. This shouldn't take this long to resolve. ONLY changes from any user should be synced so all users see, do NOT sync how 1 user views the document - be it filter, hidden column, etc. Come on MS! Google Docs offers such features years ago. Catch up.

The feature seems to work well and is really useful. My issue is I have to unprotect the worksheet in order to allow saved views to work. Temporary ones work though.

This functionality works great for tables, but pivot tables are still plagued by the same issue. Is there any way we could get this feature for pivot tables?

What about the O365 local install version? This is where the problem still exists.Cheers

For those struggling with 'hide columns or rows' affecting everyone viewing, please vote here: https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/274580-excel-for-the-web/suggestions/39398026-maintain-hidden-rows-columns-in-sheet-view-so-ot

Sheet view doesn't work correctly for hiding columns (maybe rows as well). If I hide some columns, they are hidden in all views including default one.

What happened to the simple option from a while ago whereby when filtering it asked if it was for all users or just you?
That was really simple and very useful
