Show formulas
This option would allow you to toggle seeing formulas in cells rather than their calculated values.
Thank you for your continued feedback and responses. We are glad to update that the work for this feature has started.
We’ll share more details as we progress.
Thanks!

In the meantime ...
Excel 365/Online Tip:
Ctrl+~ does not work as expected
Alternative is to do a replace
Look for =
Replace with '=
Explanation:
The leading ' (single quote or apostrophe) will transform formulas into text.
To revert back, just do an undo.
Unfortunately there will not be any row (1,2,3, etc.) and column headings (A,B,C, etc.) option.
Steps:
1) Find & Select
2) Replace
3) Find what: =
4) Replace with: '=
5) Replace All
Enjoy ☺!

We definitely need to have this feature (CTRL + `) for the online version of Excel to check students understanding and correctness of their work. As a school we are attempting to move all our resources onto OneDrive and Office 365 so it's a really important feature for us.

This would be great to have in the online version of Excel. Our students and teachers use this all the time for learning opportunities on editing and troubleshooting formulas. Would like Ctrl` to show all formulas and then press ctrl` again to turn it off.

Excel 365 online not very useful without a show formulas method.

This is an important feature. It is mandatory to be able to conduct an exam digitally in Norway. Google Calc has this feature, so come on Microsoft! :)
